Winkumi Terms of Use

Winkumi lets you turn photos into playful discoveries and keep them in a local collection without an account. Optional online accounts are for people aged 16 and over. Available mobile features include an account profile, private posts in your own Nest and an explicit request for publication review. Saving privately or placing a copy in the local upload queue never publishes it. A publication request is reviewed before appearing to other members; approval is not guaranteed. Explore selects eligible reviewed posts by other members using your selected interests, recency, creator and category variety, with block and report filters. Community selections are labelled separately. You can block a member or report a post. No direct messaging or advertising personalisation is offered. The web provides read-only access to your own account Nest.

Online accounts require a minimum age of 16. People aged 16 and over register directly with their own email address, current document acknowledgements and email verification; no parent approval is requested. People under 16 cannot create an online account and can continue with available local creative features instead. Declare your age range accurately. Selecting an older age, accepting these terms or entering an email code is not age verification. There is no parent-consent enrollment route that bypasses the minimum age.

Existing younger-use protection on a device stays separate from the age of the person using it. An older age choice does not remove the restriction or automatically assign device discoveries to an account.

Use photos and other content you have the right to use, and respect other people’s privacy. Your photos and creations remain yours. Saving a discovery locally does not publish it or grant us ownership. You decide whether to export a copy and where to send it. The destination service’s rules apply to that copy. Winkumi’s app artwork, mascot and interface assets remain subject to their respective rights.

When accounts are available, use an email address you control and keep your password and verification codes private. Do not use another person’s account, try to bypass security or age controls, or interfere with the service. Account email is sent from info@winkumi.com. You can stop using the account service and initiate account deletion through account settings or the account deletion page when available, with identity verification and a separate final confirmation. This removes the supported account rather than merely deactivating it. A connection failure does not prove completion; an unresolved retention obligation or unsupported scope is reported for review instead of a false success. Local discoveries, drafts, exported copies and device backups must be managed separately. Limited legally necessary records, provider copies and backups follow the retention criteria in the Privacy Policy; deletion does not revive an erased account through a restore.

Test features may change or become unavailable while they are being developed. We will explain relevant account and data changes before enabling new data collection. Registration requires explicit acceptance of the current privacy and terms documents; accepting an earlier draft does not authorize an undisclosed future data flow.
